Tonotop, Inc. ("Tonotop", "we", "us") builds clinician workflow software that supports structured post-fit hearing care. This policy describes what information we collect through tonotop.com and the Tonotop application, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
On tonotop.com, if you submit one of our sign-up forms, we collect the name and email address you provide. Our web servers also keep standard request logs.
In the Tonotop application, we collect the account information you or your hearing clinic provide, such as your name, email address, and mobile number, along with your activity in the program, so that your clinic can support your care.
How we use information
- To provide the Tonotop program and show your progress to you and your clinic
- To respond when you ask us to contact you
- To send the notifications described below, when you have opted in
- To operate, secure, and improve our service
We do not sell personal information.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and consent to text messages, Tonotop will send you notifications about your account. For example, that a new training session is available or that your clinician has sent you a message.
We do not share your mobile number with third parties. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent for marketing purposes. We use a messaging provider solely to deliver our own messages to you.
Message frequency. You may receive up to 6 messages per month. Frequency varies with your program activity.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop all text messages. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for help, or email support@tonotop.com. Opting out of text messages does not affect your access to Tonotop or your care with your clinic.
We send transactional email, such as invitations and password resets, and we reply to messages you send us. If you signed up on tonotop.com to hear from us, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails or by writing to support@tonotop.com.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run Tonotop: Amazon Web Services for hosting and email delivery, and a messaging provider to deliver text messages. These providers process information only to deliver their service to us.
Security and retention
Information is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to people who need it to operate the service. We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, and we delete or de-identify it when it is not.
